Elite Pro-Series Revised Format Announced

Details for the Spring 2016 Elite Pro-Series have been announced, with competitions to be played on Sunday afternoons commencing 9th of October at Kirkham Park, Elderslie. The Spring 2016 Series will have a revised full field format, with 11 players on the field & rules closely following those of the NRL. The change of format & day of play have been prompted by feedback we have had from interested parties, Amanda Vecchio, Secretary of the Tag League Association said. Many Leagues Clubs want the opportunity to keep their teams together through the Spring break, so following their preferred field format, rules and day of play was not difficult to understand. The competition is however non-contact so players can rest their body whilst still keeping fit over the off season, plus keep their ball & match play skills tuned. Registrations for Mens & Womens competitions are being accepted up to Sunday 2nd October. Details are available at the following links;
